A June 2017 gathering of citizen activists in Tashkent’s Bobur Park to collect signatures and demand an investigation into the murder of medical student Jasur Ibragimov. The gathering was one of the first of its kind since the Andijan massacre of May 13, 2005 when Uzbek government forces shot and killed hundreds of largely unarmed protesters.
