Amy Rao is Executive Vice President of The Schmidt Family Foundation where she has served on the board since 2006. Prior to joining TSFF full time she was the founder and CEO of Integrated Archive Systems, a Silicon Valley based system integrator and reseller she led for 26 years. Amy proudly serves as co-chair of the Human Rights Watch board and also serves as the board chair of ReStore Justice. Originally from Indiana, Amy moved to Palo Alto in 1985 where she resides with her husband. Together they have five grown children spread across the country.
