She trained as journalist at Teesside University in the UK, before starting her broadcast career at Reuters. After a stint at ITN, she joined Sky News to launch its World News programme before moving to the channel's flagship evening news bulletin.
She moved on to produce documentaries, working on productions for the Discovery Channel, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, A&E and Animal Planet.
Prior to joining Human Rights Watch, Ifé co-founded and ran a London-based creative agency, producing several high profile films and campaigns.
