Leaders of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States have failed to take concrete and decisive action on the unprecedented challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic and global warming, this weekend during the G7 Summit in Cornwall.

The security forces in Myanmar are arbitrarily arresting and detaining family and friends of activists, protesters, and opposition members. The junta should immediately and unconditionally release all those wrongfully held and end all collective punishment, which violates fundamental principles of international human rights law.

Today also marks the start of the "trial" against Myanmar's locked-up leader Aung San Suu Kyi.

A sexual abuse scandal has hit the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).

The era of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ended. Big question: will the new government adopt long overdue policies that respect human rights of every person living in Israel and Palestine?

Hungary’s parliament should reject a bill that would prohibit discussion of gender identity and sexual orientation, and violates te country’s international legal obligations.

And we celebrated International Albinism Awareness Day on Sunday!
