Corrections to our publications
Human Rights Watch strives to maintain the highest level of accuracy in our reporting. This includes a commitment to correcting errors or clarifying facts that appear in our publications in a timely fashion. Corrections appear both on this dedicated webpage and at the bottom of the publication that contained the error.
We cannot reply individually to all corrections requests, but all such requests that specify the exact nature of the alleged inaccuracy and the publication (title, page number / web address and date) in which it appeared will be reviewed. If you believe you have found an inaccuracy in our materials, please contact us.
Errors contained in social media posts under Human Rights Watch and staff accounts will also be corrected in a prompt and transparent manner.

2 أبريل/نيسان أبريل 2020:
تم إدخال بعض التنقيحات اللغوية على العنوان والنص بعد النشر.
تحديث: في 20 مارس/آذار، فرض رئيس الوزراء حظر تجول إلزامي بحسب القانون. خرق الحظر يعرّض المخالفين للسجن حتى سنة واحدة. قالت مديرية الأمن العام إنها اعتقلت 693 لخرق حظر التجول يوم 21 مارس/آذار.
12 شباط 2020:في نسخة سابقة من تقرير مخطوفو "داعش" تم الإشارة بشكل خاطئ إلى تاريخ ومكان خطف فراس الحاج صالح. تم تعديل التقرير لتصحيح التاريخ والمكان.
3 مارس/آذار 2020:
تم تصحيح النسخة العربية من هذا البيان للتوضيح أنه لم تعمل أي مؤسسة إعلامية مستقلة في البلاد منذ إغلاق صحيفة "الوسط"، ولم يتوقف عمل وسائل الإعلام بالمطلق.
تم تحديث هذا الفصل لعكس التغييرات التي أُدخِلت على قانون الأحوال الشخصية في 2019 بخصوص شرط إلزام المرأة بإطاعة زوجها ولعكس التطوّرات بخصوص الحماية القانونية من العنف المنزلي.
10/11/2021: هذه النسخة من الفصل تحتوي تحديثا لعدد البالغين المبلغ عنهم من قبل النيابة العامة على أنهم تمت ملاحقتهم بتهم إجراء علاقات جنسية خارج الزواج في 2018.
