Stephanie Hancock oversees media outreach and strategy in the UK. She joined Human Rights Watch in 2013 and is based in London. Prior to this, she spent 10 years working as a journalist. She trained in the print media in London, but soon moved overseas and worked as a stringer for the BBC and Reuters. She worked as a correspondent in Chad, the UAE and Qatar, and among other places has reported from Darfur, Central African Republic, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Kuwait. As well as writing and editing, Stephanie is an experienced radio reporter and producer, and operated for several years as a solo shoot-edit video journalist. Follow her on Twitter @hancock_steph
